Are you constantly pitching ads at your friends and family through social media? Do you find your results a little... on the low side? Have your friends forgotten who you are outside of your business? You need to change your average.
Your social media business page needs a little you in it, actually- a lot of you. Your customers, potential teammates, future hostesses- they need to know YOU. It's all about relationship building. You need to give them 80% personal, and 20% business. Why those exact numbers?
Well it mostly comes from the Pareto Principal, which states:
" for many events, roughly 80% of the effects come from 20% of the causes."
This has been adapted and applied to many different layers of business, from time management to organizational skills- to sales and marketing. Plus, it's just a nice even set of round numbers, don't you agree?
Basically, 80% of your profit is going to come from 20% of your hard work. Because, sales are not about how much you advertise, but the quality and value of what you are offering. It's about trust, and relationships.
Get to know your prospects. See how YOU can serve THEM, and stop trying to find people who can benefit you. So, up-shift your mind- start thinking from the frontal lobe- give more of yourself and really begin to listen to your "fan base".
